Auction results are public. Private and gallery sales mostly aren't, and that's where much of the market is. If you bought or sold a work, a realised price helps fill the gap.
Report a sale
Beyond your name and email, only the artist, title, date and price are required. A curator reviews every report and may email you to confirm a detail. Reported prices are kept separate from auction prices and don't feed the index.
